Denver — the first day of 2024 in colorado will usher in several new laws and an increase in the minimum wage. Colorado’s 2023 minimum wage rate is $13.65 per hour.
The new minimum wage will increase 15% to $15.69 from the state’s current minimum of $13.65, but only in unincorporated boulder county. Colorado’s state minimum wage will increase to $14.42 per hour beginning january 1, 2024.
The Wage Increase Will Also Change For Tipped.
The tipped wage is $11.40 per hour.
While The Federal Minimum Wage Has Been Stuck At $7.25 Since 2009, But Some States Finally Took Action.
Colorado’s hourly minimum wage is set to increase at the same rate, to nearly $14.50 next year, up from this year’s $13.65.
